Reviews

Recently there has been talk on a few groups that I am with who talk about when to review and when not too.

Some people only review if the rating will be positive 3 stars or above.   I can understand why people do that.   As a blogger and reviewer I review all books that I read or I try to. 

I don't sugar coat the fact that I review for me and of something doesn't fit I will say so in the review.   One reason I choose my genres and that is the only ones I review.

I also don't allow the fact that I am in groups with these people affect the review.  I may love one book from the author and then dislike another by the same.

As a reviewer I try to be objective about the books I read.  I think all reviewers for the most part do.

Book reviews

One thing I live is to read.  Reading allows you to see into other peoples lives and can help overcome bigotry and fear.

I have read many books over the years and am still in awe over some of the earlier books I have read

Nothing can take the place of what I read when younger such as Charlotte's Web.  But new books are coming in that are just as memorable.

I read almost anything at least once.  I love fantasy and psychological thrillers best and there are a few that cross over to both.
